Students must register for the Philosophy Field Course (PHIL*4160) during the Summer 2020 semester and are responsible for tuition and fees.

There is an activity fee of $500.00 per student, payable by February 24th. It is non-refundable after March 16.

 

Included in your tuition and activity fees are all accommodations at Whalers Guest House and Hooksum Outdoor School (11 nights total). Also included is the cost of the water taxi trip to and from Hesquaiht Harbour (2 hours each way). Meals during the three days at Hooksum Outdoor School are also included along with small fees such as entrance to Ucluelet Aquarium.

 

Students are responsible for booking their own flights to airports in Vancouver or Victoria, and for their travel to and from Tofino. See Logistics for details.

While staying at Whalers, students are able to purchase groceries in town and cook their own meals in the communal kitchen.
